Brownie is Scotch Plains-Fanwood Pet of the Week

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Meet Brownie! He was chosen as the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Patch Pet of the Week.

“Meet Brownie, a rescue dog from Georgia who was with a foster family in upstate New York for a few months before blessing us with his presence over five years ago. In March of this year he had seizures and a possible stroke and we thought we were going to lose him.

However, thanks to family perseverance and diligent medical treatment, he made a strong recovery. Not officially a therapy dog per se, but nevertheless gives our 17 year old daughter a lot of love and helps her through difficult times. “
