Clan

Clan – 12 years old, male, Labrador. Clan is an older man who is to the rescue through no fault of his own. He loves his exercise and his food and could live happily with another dog. Considering his age, the children in his new home should be aged eight and over.

Skylar

Skylar

Skylar – six months, female, crossbred. Skylar is a lovely young girl who was very scared when she arrived at Islay Dog Rescue. She is looking for a home with a family that has the time to train her and give her plenty of exercise and wonderful experiences – but not all at once because she doesn’t want to be overwhelmed. Skylar could live with a calm male dog and children over the age of 14.

Caesar

Caesar

Caesar – two to three years old, male, crossbred. Caesar was taken from a home where he was not being adequately cared for. While his looks make some people think he’s fierce, he’s a big softie. This gorgeous boy is fully home trained, happy to spend time in his crate and loves to go on car trips. Although Caesar can walk on a leash, he needs some practice to be able to walk properly and politely as he is very strong when pulling. He is looking for an active family that has experience with bull breeds and no children under the age of 12.

Nancy

Nancy

Nancy – four years old, female, mixed race. Nancy ended up at the shelter after being adopted in early April. She is back through no fault of hers or her owners. Poor health within the family determined his return, and the owners were upset by this turn of events. While in their care, Nancy was a wonderful dog. She is home trained and likes to sleep on the bottom of the bed. Nancy could live with a calm male dog and children over the age of eight. She’s not good with cats.
