Love taking photos on the Jersey Shore? Enter a fun photo contest

Do you like taking pictures? do you have a favorite camera? Maybe it’s just your phone and you love taking photos of the Jersey Shore? maybe you love Instagram and love posting photos there ….

Anyway, there is an easy and fun photo contest that I came across, and maybe you would like to be a part of it. I’m participating and if you’re looking for something fun to do this fall, maybe this one is yours 🙂

Personally, I like photography as a hobby. I keep it simple with my no frills Nikon D5600, my 1949 Voigtlander Vito II, and sometimes my iPhone 13 Pro. All three take great photos but are still simple and fun to use. I’m known to take my cameras everywhere and I’m always on the lookout for that “photo of the day”.

One of the “subjects” that I have tackled in recent years is that of “birds”. These are tough “topics” for the most part, they scare easily and don’t stay still for long, so you better be quick!

I also like to take pictures of historical sites. In fact, I submit the photo below of the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.

So the photo contest that I am sharing with you is organized by the World Organization of Photography. “The World Photography Organization was established in 2007 by founder and CEO Scott Gray. Our goal is to raise the level of conversation around photography around the world, through a program of exhibitions, awards and competitions throughout the year. “
